On school days, Doorset plays reminders through your HomePod, from breakfast to out the door.
Launching for Mac SoonSet it up once: what time you need to leave, which days are school days, and what each reminder says.
Each reminder plays where the whole house can hear it, with a few chimes first to get everyone's attention.
Adjust today's morning, add a day off, or send a quick message to the HomePod from anywhere in the house.
Start from a ready-made morning, or build your own. Change any time, rewrite any word, add or drop reminders.
Add Reminder
Doorset adds the day's details to the right reminder: the weather before the kids get dressed, and class days at breakfast.
Day off? No reminders.
Doorset began with the school bus.

When one of my kids started taking the bus to elementary school, it threw our mornings into chaos. A bad morning meant rushing and stressing to get out the door on time, and we were regularly late, or at least later than we wanted to be. Nothing I tried made it go more smoothly until I started playing reminders through our HomePods.
Doorset is what came out of that: a simple Mac app where you set the time you need to leave and create a sequence of reminders that keeps the whole family on track, from “make sure you're eating breakfast” to “don't forget your library books.”
Now the kids anticipate the reminders and act as soon as they hear them. They help make sure they're bringing what they need, like library books, and grabbing warm clothes when it's cold. And we're always early. That's a brand new experience!
